Penn Station East Coast Subs

I really wanted to have a better experience this time and it was in some ways but wow, the final product, what I came here for, a sub, was just disappointing. I ordered a chicken teriyaki sub, no onions. That's the only customization I requested. The sub had plenty of onions, which at least gave it some moisture but there was no teriyaki sauce to be found. I just thought it was so simple, there were maybe 2 people in the whole place so they weren't busy. Why couldn't they just get this right?

wow i came in first i wanna say i met the manger chris was his name man he has those employees trained great! his two team leads anthonee and mj i believe had great customer service and had my food out fast and man they were slammed! Had great experience i look forward to coming back!

I had fond memories of getting Penn Station where I used to live, just 25 miles away. Today, Sunday, I stopped in at 11:10 to order 3 Sandwiches, 1 fries, 1 lemonade, to-go, and finally left with them 45 minutes later. I feel bad for the employees working, all 2 of them, because there should be at least twice that many to handle the customer throughput. I saw potential customers come in, stand in a non- moving line of 1 person, and just give up and leave. I couldn't even get my lemonade to drink while I waited long enough to watch 2 episodes of any sitcom, because the lady making sandwiches couldn't hear my verbal request, but also was too busy to make eye contact. I am sitting here at Penn Station East Coast Subs for the first time and ordered the steak and cheese sub along with some fries. Unfortunately, my experience was worth writing about. The steak and cheese sub was extremely salty and tasted more like Hamburger Helper than actual steak. It was really disgusting; I've had better food at a carnival. The fries were equally disappointing, failing to impress in both taste and texture. Additionally, the restaurant was empty, which was concerning. The tables in the dining area were sticky, and there was no soap in the men's room. I’m blown away by how shameful this place is. Despite the limited dining options in Lebanon, TN, this is definitely one to avoid. Given this underwhelming experience, I absolutely will not be returning. It's a shame because

Anthonee did a great job. He has great customer service . He also had amazing recommendations for food. The restaurant was very clean . MJ as well was very polite and helpful as well .
