Penelope's Lil' Cafe

I liked the meal although, I feel the meal was a lot better the 1st time I went which is why I wanted to visit again. The ribeye was cooked perfectly but it tasted old. Hashbrowns were just a little lukewarm but eggs and pancakes were perfect temp and cooked very well. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and gravy bc the 1st time it was so delicious; bringing back childhood memories but not so this time.

We had a wonderful experience! We were seated right away, and even though the place was busy, our waiter Paul greeted us immediately and took great care of us. He checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. My picky daughter loved the breakfast wrap. I enjoyed the French toast combo, and my partner couldn’t get enough of the Penelope’s combo. We highly recommend this place!

Really cute little cafe. I just had a veggie omelette, but it was delicious. The inside is so cozy and the staff are so friendly. The prices are not too bad at about $11 for my meal. The only downside is the small parking lot that fills up quick, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault.

Our steak and eggs were absolute perfection. Corn-fed Nebraska beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was so flavorful it didn't need more than salt n pepper for flavoring... the beef did all the talking. Rounded off with farm fresh eggs and handmade hashbrowns topped off with excellent customer service.

Penelope's is a true hole-in-the-wall hidden gem. Our first (and definitely not our last) visit was thanks to a friend who told me how yummy Penelope's is. I can confidently say that I agree with my friend! Our amazing server, Ramona was a rockstar. She served us coffee right away, explained and sold us on the day's specials. She described these meals so well with enthusiasm, we had to get both specials. My husband and I indulged in the chicken fried steak skillet for $12.99 and the stuffed very berry French toast. Both meals did not disappoint and I would strongly recommend. Our food came out quickly. I can see why this restaurant has won many awards!
