Pender County Library

This library is absolutely amazing! They offer a variety of classes for all ages, preschool through adults, and they are all free! All supplies are included! Staff is helpful and friendly. My daughter, who is handicapped, volunteers here twice a week. They are so accepting and sweet to her. I could not recommend this library enough!

I was looking for a place to make copies, and they have a copy machine what's copies only 10 cents per page. The staff was very friendly. I was easily able to obtain a library card by simply showing my photo ID. You do not need a library card to use their copy machine. They take book donations, and sell the used books for a low price. The ones that do not sell they give away free! They have free wi-fi, in computers, with a convenient and calming atmosphere. There are also events posted around including a family movie night.

This branch of the Pender County library is fantastic! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The selection of books is expansive and current. Plenty of multimedia is available also, not just print books. The children’s section is one of the best I’ve seen. The environment is always conducive to reading or study.

This library is pretty big, with a lot to offer. Free wifi access inside and outside stays on everyday and night, even after closing. There is a wheelchair ramp and handicapped parking. Inside is a large children's section which includes several kid friendly computers with learning games to play, large book collection to read there or check out to take home, activities hosted by staff are held often and are listed on a take-home calender, there is a big collection of blocks to play with, arts and crafts, and much more. Further inside there is a collection of all genres of movie DVDs to rent, several large seating areas with couches and also kiosks with privacy blinds dividing each other, approximately 3 or 4 private rooms to use for meetings or tutoring, etc. There is a computer lab with a
