Pembroke Pines/Walter C. Young Resource Center

I visited Broward County Library today for the first time and I think it’s well resourced to a great extent. I like the neatness and the fact that the kids have a section with their computers. I also saw a colourful keyboard which will make learning, reading and typing easier and memorable for children.

What happened to this library?? I was there today after a long long time without going because they closed on Saturdays now that they are open I’m saddened to see that it’s almost empty, way too many empty shelves why?????

First let me say my review is solely on the security guard working at this facility. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. This elder male security guard continuously would go up to my kids to tell them something. They were in the computers first and were giggling (by no means loud and disrespectful) and he would walk up to them to tell them to be quiet. I felt uncomfortable that every-time I turned my back he was talking to them. Finally as we were leaving my 4 year old ran down an isle to the book section ahead of me and again went up to him and told him “stop running this isn’t a playground” i confronted him again and asked him to speak to me instead of my children and he had the nerve to tell me to “reprimand my kids!” It is not his job to tell any parent to reprimand their chi

First time visiting this library. I went around 9:30am because the library I normally use hadn't opened yet. It is clean, quiet and want very busy on a Friday morning. I will use this location again to get errands done early.

last night, I ordered yams, macaroni, cheese, and fried chicken. When I say my stomach hurt it all the way till today. I don't know if the yams was old. I don't know if it was the cheese from the Mac, but never again.
