Pelican’s SnoBalls and Ice Cream

This is my daughter’s favorite spot! I use this place for rewards for doing good at school a lot lol! The kids spot they added for movies and events is a nice added touch. She loves to go get snoballs and watch movies. We also attend some events they have.

I drove 25 minutes to get here, only to leave disappointed. At the window, the employee kept rushing me while I was still looking over the menu. I even stepped aside so I wouldn’t hold up others, but she continued to pressure me to order. I decided on a stuffed snowball, which is supposed to have ice cream in the middle. Instead, I got a thin top layer of shaved ice and the rest of the cup was just ice cream. It felt like I paid for a large cup of ice cream when I came for a snowball. To make matters worse, the cup started overflowing as I walked back to my car. When I tossed my messy napkins in the trash, the entire top dome of the snowball fell off. I went back to the window just to ask for more napkins, and the other employee rolled her eyes and handed them to me with an attitude. Tha

I usually leave only positive reviews because I like posting good things. Mind you my wife and I come here frequently with no issues. However, this evening we had the rudest encounter with the young lady at the window with the dark hair. My wife simply asked TWICE for light syrup on her snowball and when she received it from the other young lady she asked if it was light syrup and the other young lady said "Yes". After my wife took a couple of spoons (and you can see how dark the blueberry syrup was in the snowball) my wife simply asked the girl with the dark hair could they remake it because it was not light syrup. We go here regularly! There are lots of great snowcone and ice cream options. The owner and staff are friendly. There's even a cute event space you can rent for a birthday party. Kids love it!
