Pelicana Chicken

Went to Pelicana Chicken in Whitestone with my family last night and tried a few things. The food was very solid, but the pricing around extras left a strange impression. We ordered 20 bone-in wings, which were excellent in both flavor and crispiness. However, I didn’t love that they charged $2 for every sauce, whether tossed on the wings or served on the side—it feels more like a money grab than a value add, especially when most wing spots include at least one sauce option by default. We also ordered the fries. At $8, they’re definitely on the higher side, but the nacho cheese sauce makes them taste better and helps justify the price. Honestly, the menu should highlight that more clearly. On the positive side, the avocado shrimp salad was fresh, flavorful, and a pretty good deal at $15 co

This is a great place to go if you want to have some good food and tasty beer in a relaxed atmosphere with friends. The staff who served us was very gentle, thoughtful, and friendly. The draft beer was so fantastic that it made us happy. I highly recommend the soy garlic chicken wings. If you want to eat rice, the shrimp fried rice is the right answer. You can't hate the fried calamari. It's a place I would go again for the enjoying taste and service. FYI - Every Wednesday, you can buy any flavor whole chicken half price.

Bar is nice. !!Hannah is an amazing bartender! She’s friendly, professional, and makes absolutely perfect cocktails every time. Her attention to detail and creativity really stand out. If you want a great drink and an even better vibe, ask for Hannah!

Love this place! You know the chicken is gonna be tasty and fresh when it takes 20mins to make. I don’t mind the waiting, I just hated when I didn’t order enough. The staffs are very kind to us and offered us a spicy sauce when we ordered the wrong rice cake(mild). Now they have this $1 fried wing on Wednesday dine-in only instead of the $15 whole chicken. You may want to call this place before you going because the place a bit small and gets crowded at night.

Pretty good place. Nice sandwich called the ugly chicken Sandwich. Used to be better. Used to have the chicken battered in sauce. Now it looks like a plain old common chicken sandwich. Almost like the McChicken from McDonald's. But still a tasty sandwich.
