You would never know from the outside how amazing the food is on the inside. Let me tell you something Stop by this place If you like flavor. It's amazing very good portions. Homemade fresh pepper sauce. I recommend this place a thousand percent! It's the true hole in the wall that you find that you're like oh my God I will always go back there's long cuz I pass by.

Came into town to visit and stopped in at this hidden gem. The good and service was good and quick. My crew had the liver, oxtails and split peas, stew chicken and breakfast with fry jacks. The fry jacks were my FAVORITE. They were big and fluffy. All plates came with large portion size. I couldn’t even finish all of my food. We ended by trying the rice pudding which was delicious. This will definitely be my go to for Belizean food whenever I am in town

The food was very delicious. The stew chicken could use less salt but the flavor was authentic. The atmosphere was welcoming and staff was friendly and engaging. Definitely coming back for authentic Belizean cuisine

Wow!!! What a great little surprise I almost literally ran into! While I was in South Los Angeles I noticed a few places that advertised Belizean Food so I pulled over to see about Sit-In-Diining, and the first few places did NOT allow for sit in dining, BUT when I called Pelican... they said come on over we have Sit In Dining I didn't know that they where just a few buildings away from where I pulled over! So it was fate! I met Doris & Flore... two wonderful Women who greeted me well and the service was great! Pelican looks like an old diner styled restaurant with tables and bar top with stools! That's where I was served the most wonderful plate of Ox Tails, Black beans mixed in with White rice, Potato salad, and Plantains!!! Well worth the money! Another person ordered this special p

I always go here for the fry jacks, and tortillas when I’m not feeling to make it myself! I went here today for lunch! Very disappointed! The rice is gummy like it’s spoiled it smells Burnt! This food was not worth the price at all I’ve had way better! That’s why my dad only goes for breakfast, breakfast is the only thing that’s good here! Don’t waste your money on dinner it is not Fresh it’s like days old food shame on them!
