Pelican Grill - Orange Beach

Excellent food and cheaper than comparable places around it! We had the daily special Snapper with Creole sauce and it was excellent, a real standout were the brussel sprouts in oil and honey glaze. The Lobster Mac&Cheese Burger was very juicy and was a generous portion size as well so I even had leftovers. The specialty drinks were great as well, with special mention to the Tipsy Pelican being a great drink and dessert all in one. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area, I can't wait to try more of the menu!

Very good blackened grouper with sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts. The grouper had some lump crab on it As well as some sauce. The flavors were very nice and blended very well together. The banana fosters was very good. Enjoyed the outside eating area. The atmosphere is pretty laid-back. So much laid-back that even the waiters pretty much wear whatever they want. The Long Island iced coffee was amazing though!! This first time we’ve ever heard of that and it tasted Fantastic The bathrooms need a tremendous update. It’s pretty disgusting and stinks When you tell me Staff was not overly inviting but overall, it was a pretty good experience. Overall, I would give this an 3.95 out of five stars. Had our first meal at Pelican Grill in Orange Beach, and it certainly won’t be the last! It is located directly underneath Louisiana Lagniappe on a marina. The views are gorgeous, definitely a great atmosphere! The staff was very friendly and our service was wonderful. There was live music outside at their outdoor bar, The Tipsy Pelican. Now, on to the food! We ordered the Bourbon Filet and Blackened Grouper topped with crab meat and beurre blanc sauce. The Bourbon Filet was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. That bourbon sauce is flavorful and absolutely delicious! The grouper was also delicious. I have never had mixed vegetables julienned in strips before, and I gotta say, it’s my new favorite way to eat veggies. These were so good! Everything was flavorful. We ended a perfect meal with

Great place for seafood and atmosphere. The staff was great and fun. Met the owner and he was proud of his staff and his chefs. My wife and I started with Sautéed Crab Claws, delicious! We had Pinot Gris and double Bullet Rye on rocks for drinks. For dinner we had blackened grouper with baked potatoes and house salads. We finished with a small key lime pie for dessert. You will love the atmosphere, you will love the food, and you will love the staff.

The service was great and so was the atmosphere. The view of the bay was nice. The food was spectacular. My husband had raw oysters to start which were very fresh. I had the twin lobster with risotto and fried brussels. It was amazing. My husband had the grouper with the crab meat sauce with the same sides. It too was really good. For dessert we had the banana foster with ice cream. It was a hit!!! Would for sure recommend this restaurant. It was a little hard to find but definitely worth the hunt!!!
