Peking Garden

This is by far the best Chinese takeout you will find in probably the whole New York. That includes the city. I've had so much Chinese food across NYC and a lot of them sadly fell off. Peking Garden in Brewster has held their ground for many years. The consistency of their food, and the pride they take in ownership is why they are #1. They offer menu items that you cant get anywhere else in the whole county, and the flavor is always the best. They serve the freshest vegetables and use the best ingredients to make their dishes really stand out. When I get Peking Garden I have to literally force myself to stop because it's so good that even when I'm full I just want another bite, and another bite lol.

When I grew up in India, I loved the Chinese food there. That kind of food, a little specialized to Indian taste buds are also available as Indo-Chinese restaurants. When I looked at the menu here, I notice Chop Suey. While Chop Suey is relatively very less spicy, it used to be available as "American Chop Suey" in India. I bet it was for clients who did not want it to be too spicy. I ordered a large here and there it was, with its plethora of vegetables, as the recipe calls for. I really liked it and the taste of the whole dish. With a little rice, it went in smoothly.

I was a little concerned because the place looks run down but the food was great. It's a good thing that I'm a true believer to never judge a person or a place from the outside. The restaurant is very old, they been there for 42 years. That explains why the food is good.

I really do like their food BUT I have to say this for the safety and for everyone that orders and pick up their food. PLEASE, please just hire someone to do a deep cleaning so when customers walk in the floors and corners of floors and all the surfaces that customers can see are sparkling clean. Someone can do this. Please just take the time and do it!!!

Most disgusting food ever!!! Pan Fried dumplings are deep fried, Beef Chow Fun appears to be boiled. Circling the drain. Yuk! Recommendation: Find another place.
