Peking Chinese Restaurant

Peking Chinese Food in Auburn offers really good food at fair prices, but the experience is chilled—literally. Despite it being 40 degrees outside, the air conditioning was blasting inside, making it too cold to enjoy a meal indoors. Adding to that, there’s no trash barrel available, which makes it feel like they don’t want customers to dine inside. Add in the fact that there are no bathrooms available for customers and you really feel like it should be take out only. A tasty meal, but the atmosphere leaves something to be desired.

This is a small place, in a strip mall at a gas station. But the food was surprisingly good and tasted fresh. The chicken and broccoli was good and the broccoli was not over cooked. The chicken with garlic sauce was also good. We asked for it to be spicy and it was spicy, but not overwhelmingly spicy. We also ordered the fried dumpling. The dumpling were okay and the dipping sauce was good. It appears to be run by a family with two cute little girls keeping themselves busy while mom and dad work. Our food was served to us by these little girls...which was adorable. The woman working the register enthusiastically greeted everyone when they entered.

My Review comes with love . Because I was reluctant to even spend $16 for dinner but it was well worth it. They cooking food up in this lil small store front that makes you want to do some karate and smack someone in the face at Panda Express (🤢)!!!! I don't know if y'all know what youll got up here in Maine but if y'all don't recognize please send these chefs to my city Philly cause we love a great Chinese chef...... Excellent I knew when I put in my order and before I hung up the person screamed out my order in a demanding way to whoever they was talking too lol that I was getting the iron chef special lol 🤣. Cute Kids too very respectful and friendly.

Made a take out order as I was taking my 10 across the street. First time trying this spot… Little to no flavor, mushy rice, room temperature food. Didn’t seem fresh, at $15 a combo im not a returning customer.

Best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had! Made a pitstop here on our way home from New Hampshire. My sister and I ordered the honey chicken and crab rangoons. The portions were very generous, the chicken was crispy, and the flavors were amazing! I wish we lived closer!! We will definitely be stopping in again when we pass through.
