Customer Reviews
I’m so thankful that we have such a lovely and upscale location in San Angelo. My husband and I had a fantastic early Valentines Date night and the staff at The Peasant Village made it perfect. From start to finish! The surf and turf was delicious, The ribeye was amazing. I would highly recommend!
First time visiting, great great experience!! We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. I called them to make a reservation and to see if they could help me out and sing him happy birthday and they did :') they gave us a a little card with the Chef's signature, and the cheesecake had a candle lol. They definitely made us feel very special and so welcomed, specially us that we are military and are far away from family. They definitely made it feel like family ❤️ And the staff, everything was just perfect, friendly, calm and loved how private it feels. Thank you all for giving us such a great experience, and let's not even talk about the amazing food and the drinks 10/10!!! Thank you 🤍 AND they have 10% for military.
Quaint, quiet, and comforting describes our wonderful New Year’s Eve night out at Peasant Village. The duck was magnificent! The potatoes were even better. My husband had the lamb… not an ounce leftover. We were seated fairly quickly in a nice, cozy nook and were captivated by the artwork and homey surroundings. We visited once about three years ago and left feeling ehh, it was okay. However, this time, we left wanting more (in a good way). We will definitely be back! Bravo, chef!
We have been going to PV for many years, we always try to go for our anniversary. Great food, drinks and staff are wonderful! Chef Jason makes you feel like you are in his home vs at a restaurant. We just celebrated 17 years together and will continue to create more memories at PV.
This place was delicious. I highly recommend them for any reason. We went for our anniversary dinner on a Friday night (we did make a reservation) and were shocked at how great the staff was even with two huge groups for Christmas parties. The cottage atmosphere is so unique it’s very relaxing and homie. Chef jason came out to check on every guest at one point. We didn’t get any alcoholic drinks but I definitely would like to come back and try some. Their smoky old fashion looked impeccable. Definitely get the truffle fries!
