Customer Reviews
Tried this place due to the good ratings but after having my own experience, I need to give a bad rating. There was no wait time to be seated. The server took our orders correctly. The Mexican mule I got was not great and I asked for a different drink but was denied. They said I could only have an adjustment made to my current drink. So keep in mind, if they cannot change your drink, they for sure cannot change your meals. The prawns fettuccine seemed like a bundle, mushed all together and way too much sauce. The Lomo saltado had an off sauce, the sauce would seem more appropriate for noodles. Very disappointing.
I was here with my friends to watch a play nearby and since we reached early we decided to have our early dinner at this place. It's a cute little place with friendly staff and quite a warm crowd. We were a group of six people seated and served with menu card and water. We ordered clam chowder soup and quinoa salad but later we cancelled as the soup was very filling. We finished and came back again after our play got over and decided to have some appetizers with fries, cheese sticks, and calamari. This place also allowed us to bring our own wine and the server was nice to serve the wine in the glass that they gave to us. Overall a great experience, but one of the server seems to be new as we had to keep calling him for water. I will definitely recommend this place.
Food was pretty good. I had the ceviche as an appetizer. It was good but it needed a little spice. so I asked for some hot sauce and they gave me the habanero one and it made it perfect. For brunch I had that crab benedict with eggs over easy on top, house potatoes and fruit. Benedict and potatoes were good together soaked up all the yolk with the potatoes and Benedict toast. Fruit was just ok. All cantaloupe with just 1 piece of pineapple. I like more of an evenly mix instead of one fruit taking over. Wifey had the chicken and waffles. She said Waffles, and house made infused butter were good fluffy and crispy. Chicken was crispy, and Juicy, but lacked a bit in seasoning. I tried a piece of the chicken and threw some Crystal hot sauce on it which made it better. Definitely was crispy and
Service: Firstly the waiter sucked. We came and it wasn't busy. The waiter had 2 other tables, she took our drink orders along with the food as she took so long we were ready to order. She didn't put in a drink & got the food orders wrong. Guess she was too busy running her mouth at the bar with her colleagues. The appetizer came with the entrees. Food: the Asian pork was great, it was tangy, sweet and tender. The cucumber that came with it was a nice pickled tasted and paired well. The veggies were tender, had a decent butter flavor. The steak was bland, didn't have taste or flavor, 1 wasn't cooked as asked. It had a roast type taste. The potatoes wasnt garlic mashed but tasteless. The jalapeno chicken tasted like sweet and sour chicken. I would say the best thing we ordered was the veg
Absolutely incredible incredible bistro. I ordered sweet potato tots, and fresh clam chowder, which were both incredible. The tots are crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside (no mashed muck here!), while the chowder was deliciously creamy and full of clams and potatoes. The ambiance is impeccable, the hosts and staff are amazing. We'll definitely be back.
