Peapod by Giant Food

Love shopping here. My comment is about the .10 paper bags, they're so cheap you're lucky if you make it from the store to your vehicle without them tearing open spilling your groceries out. I was born 1960 grow up with paper bags but they were stronger, better quality and FREE.

This store is clean, well organized and well stocked. Personnel are courteous, efficient and assistive. My late arrival to the store didn't seem to make a difference. I didn't see a cashier, but there were multiple self-checkout stations available for use, and a member of personnel assigned to the area for assistance if needed. This was a pleasant experience from entry to exit.

Loved the cherries that were on sale for $ 1.99 per pound instead of 8.99 that was the regular price! Must be either a very generous sale or a system hiccup! I suspect it was the latter. Because the price labels near the produce read $ 3.99 per pound but the system charged only 1.99 at the time of checkout!!! I regret I did not buy more!!

My delivery time was between 11am and 1 pm . The groceries were on my step at 9:30 when I checked and then at 12 noon I get a notice that my giant driver has arrived! Everything would have been melted. If I haven’t checked earlier . Not impressed and will probably not order from you again.
