Peacock Place

My wife and I stayed overnight here for our anniversary after exploring her childhood town of Eastman. The house and our room were clean and comfy, just perfectly cozy. The atmosphere was fun and charming, what with the peacock decorations in this 1890s house with big dining room tables and a well furnished parlor/living room. The breakfast was absolutely awesome--and there was so much! The ladies who prepared our breakfast were kind and courteous, and we all talked a bit together as we ate our breakfast. Charming and lovely place, and we're very pleased to have stayed.

This is a new inn that recently opened. An eager, young, and energetic couple runs the place, and are working hard to maintain a 100+ year old house in an elegant and gracious style. Delicious breakfast. Grits, bacon, eggs, and biscuits. The room we stayed in was beautiful, with large windows and an en suite bath. The old claw foot bathtub was pretty, but the shower curtain that circles the entire thing can have a tendency to stick to your leg. Lots of personal attention and touches that added to a delightful stay. We were able to see one of the other bedrooms, which was just as nice as ours. Another guest was in their third room, and we were unable to see that. ||We also saw their personal apartment on the 3rd floor, that they are willing to rent out when the space is needed. It

One of the most beautiful and amazing B & B’s we have ever stayed in. The Orchid room was perfect for us. Lori prepared our breakfast and it was delicious. It was such a pleasure to talk with her. And. . . We forgot a small shaving bag which was promptly put in the mail to us. We give Peacock Place an A+++

We came to Eastman for work and stayed at Peacock place. This bed and breakfast was amazing! The rooms were incredibly comfortable- literally the MOST comfortable bed I've ever slept on in my life. The breakfast was fantastic and filling. The host was very gracious and communicative. We will definitely stay again if we are ever back in this area!

It was incredibly refreshing to stay in such a cozy and well maintained Bed & Breakfast on a recent trip to my home town. If you’re looking for accommodations for out of town visitors, THIS IS THE PLACE! Landon was a wonderful host and breakfast was delightful. As a collector of antiques, the furnishings were particularly lovely to admire. We will most definitely be back.
