Peach Blossom Diner

On 2/24/26 my wife and I tried the Peach Blossom Cafe in Spartanburg, SC, each ordering a western omelet. The omelet filling was very basic, all I saw was diced ham (cut in miniature pieces), cheese, onions and peppers, mushrooms were extra. The omelet was not filled completely to the ends. Did not offer hash browns, only fried potatoes. The plate was certainly not "plentiful". They served 4 biscuits that were very good. The OJ and coffee was also good. Order total before tip was +$36.

Peach Blossom Diner was a mixed bag. It's seat-yourself and turnover is very fast so we didn't have to wait. Service is good. The menu is limited and fixed price; you choose from 6 or 7 mains and then choose 3 from the 6 or 7 veggie choices. The price also includes a bread, dessert and tea. The downside was the food; it was just mediocre. I felt like we were eating at a cafeteria but with a full service dining room in front. Not bad, just not special. Dining room and bathroom were clean.

Let’s just say this, we won’t be back. The meat loaf was horrible. Had it not been for the red sauce on top of it it would have tasted like an unseasoned ground beef patty. The green beans must have been straight from a can and along with the mash potatoes they must have been out all day. On top of all that, we had to send the meatloaf back to have them heat it, even after being told it had just been made. The meatloaf dinner deserve a 0 star, the one star goes to the BLT. ALTHOUGH the bacon was not fresh and the lettuce was not a leaf of lettuce it was the hard part of the iceberg lettuce.

Absolutely a gem. Found Peach Blossom Diner because I forgot to eat breakfast and needed to do some work. The service, food, and atmosphere were perfect.

Chicken and dumpling with their mac was very good. The homemade banana pudding was very good as well. Not bad for the price you pay for all this food.
