To start, the Classic OG for $6.99 was kind of surprising. You would think “classic” means it’s the same size as their other sandwiches, but it wasn’t. It was noticeably smaller compared to something like the Honey Butter sandwich, which tasted good by the way. Not salty, not sweet, just right in the middle and exactly how I like it. I swapped mine for grilled chicken and that part was actually fresh. It tasted like they really had to grill it on the spot. But the fries and tenders didn’t match that at all. They weren’t hot or warm, just sitting there with no attempt to make them feel fresh. Their slogan says “just made, better,” and it made me question if anything was actually made fresh. The spicy tenders get their heat from the seasoning sprinkled on top and the breading. Not from the
I absolutely love PDQ! The food is amazing, and the chicken is always moist and packed with flavor. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and I really appreciated that they had activities for kids to help keep my toddler busy. That made the experience even better! I just wish there were more locations because PDQ is truly a top-notch chicken spot.
I’ve been going to PDQ for a long time. This location over the last couple months has been doing funny stuff like re-seasoning already seasoned chicken and the quality was just meh. Went there today and I took a few bites of the chicken. It was rubbery and didn’t taste fresh. I got the Nashville hot sauces tenders which I always get and they were seasoned totally different. I was in a rush and starving so I ate them anyway. One hour layer I got sick, and still feel sick. Thank you for basically poisoning me. I’ll never be back.
Delicious! Everything. Fries were crisp and well seasoned. The chicken tenders were cooked perfectly! Buttery bread! I really enjoyed the food here. I’ll be back! And Crystal was very helpful with helping me choose as it was my first time. Much better than Raising Canes (trash) and Chick-Fil-A (too salty) if you ask me. Kay (mgr) rocks, too.
Just picked this up no 10 min ago. The best part of the meal, the coke soft drink. This is the 3rd time I was at this location. I have ordered the chrispy chicken combo each time. The first time about a year ago it was excellent. The 2nd time the chicken was under cooked. But fries where hot and crispy. The 3rd time (today) the chicken was under cooked and the fries were luke warm and dried out. (See pic) Just hope I don't get sick from under cooked chicken. What you see in the pic is headed for the trash. Beyond disappointed.
