Pawtucket House of Pizza

Interested place for a quick lunch. I heard about the steak and cheese and had to give it a try. I'll say this.... It's worth the ride. So a small corner pizza joint - the place puts out a bomb steak and cheese that is well worth the price. ...not to be confused with a steak bomb. There is probably enough steak in the sandwich to make two decent sandwiches. Ome interesting thing is the fact that pretty much everyone who came into the establishment was known by name by the staff. I don't mean one or two people but more like eight or ten people. Food seems to come off the grill pretty promptly and the cooler is stocked with an assortment of soda and other soft drinks. I did notice they have something like an omelet sandwich - quite interesting. Certainly worth a second visit. Stay tuned.

For a classic southern New England style pizzeria with great pizza, calzones, spinach pies, grinder sub sandwiches, and fried appetizers of all sorts, this spot can’t be beat! Pizza is full of greasy cheesy goodness and the crust is light and crisp.

Yep another five star review for the Pawtucket House of Pizza. I live in East Providence and I actually drive a few miles out of my way to get their delicious pizza at least once a week. When they see me coming the woman at the front (I forgot her name) just starts to ring me up for a small cheese pizza and asks me if my wife needs her wings. This is an old school pizza place with a very flavorful sauce and you can tell the food is fresh and made with love. There may be other pizza places around me and I know from looking online other people rave about other pizza establishments but as far as I'm concerned Pawtucket House of Pizza is hands down the best pizza in the state of Rhode Island. I've tried them all and although I am no expert I know good food when I taste it. Do yourself a favor

Steak and cheese was flavorless, with tough/ chewy pieces of steak and was dryer than the sahara desert , all the mayo was on the end of the sandwhich 🤦🏽‍♀️ . Steak and cheese calzone didnt have the chewy pieces of steak but was just as flavorless and dry . Heard this place was really good from several people but must had been before the new management. Either way I wont be back here thats for sure .
