Pav Bhaji and More Sunnyvale

I was recommended to stop by during my visit to try the spicy Amul Pav Bhaji, and it did not disappoint. This signature dish is a thick, flavorful vegetable curry topped with a dollop of butter, served with red onions and lime on the side, along with bread (masala pav). The pav bhaji itself is rich, hearty, and served hot (the heat really enhances the spice and flavor). The bread is lightly toasted with butter and seasoned with a special spice mix. Dipping the buttery bread into the curry is exactly how it should be enjoyed. It’s quite filling, so I ate half there and took the rest to go. I also tried the amruthulya chai. The spice blend was flavorful, though a bit sweeter than my preference, but still enjoyable overall.

This unique food stall operates from a trailer parked outside a Mobil gas station, offering a focused menu of all-vegetarian Mumbai street food. There are some vegan options available, and the distinction is important. We noticed that nearly all non-vegan dishes involve a heavy dollop of butter. While this certainly adds flavor, it also makes the food incredibly rich and fatty, which may be a concern for health-conscious diners. Masala vada paav was great so was paav bhaji. Masala chai tasted amazing. There is covered outdoor seating which is good for a large group also. Parking is an issue as there is not much parking space. Overall a great experience.

Since when do we add rice to Pav Bhaji?? Used to LOVE ❤️ this place. What happened to the quality? Recently ordered Amul Pav Bhaji, but it was filled with rice/noodles.

Best Vada Pav I’ve had in the states. Tastes just like the Vada Pav in Bandra. 10/10 recommend.
