Pauline's Place

Driving south (of course). Looking for something that is not fast food, not your average restaurant experience. Found Pauline’s Place. Very short hop off 95. Everything southern you could hope for. I got one of each! Catfish, okra, hush puppies, pulled pork. It was very tasty. Ate outside on the tables. The staff was all smiles and courtesy. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you are missing a taste of home. If you life in St. Paul’s already then I ain’t telling you anything you don’t already know. God bless!

Miss your grandma’s cooking? This place will make you feel right at home. Let’s be clear, this is a fried food and bbq spot so don’t go the day before your next cholesterol checkup, but it’s delicious! Simple and yummy. Staff is a big bunch of love!

Excellent crispy and moist fried chicken. Husband really enjoyed the fried flounder. No inside dining. We were okay eating at the screened in picnic tables. Very friendly people working inside.

First time experience wasn’t all that great. I ordered a large oyster plate and wanted to get hotdogs for mom but they no longer have them. So I asked for a chicken sandwich but she wouldn’t take my order until she helped the other people behind me. “she said she would get it when the other order was ready but never mentioned it again so I didn’t bother to ask anymore. Oysters were good but not all that, baked beans were just plain out of a can and the fries were okay. Sweet tea was good. Service was bad. I stood in line 20 minutes, patiently.
