Paulding County Health Department

Despite encountering numerous negative reviews, my initial reluctance to visit this place was overshadowed by the delightful experience I had with the exceptional staff! My son and I only had to wait 5 min to get all his health forms/checkup for school. The place was very clean and welcoming. Just make sure to make a reservation before your visit!

Walked in at 4:15pm for flu vaccine for children says closing 6:30pm, was told needed appointment and they are booked out 1-2wks after questioning if we are a returning. They weren’t busy at all. The employee kept going back and forth with another asking if we were established client/patient there, etc. DOES IT MATTER!? We are Paulding residents! A month prior I brought one child in for an immunization needed and was checked in and seen within 15 mins. I wished places like these have more compassionate, professional workers. I work in a doctors office, I can relate working upfront, greeting the public. I was not told there was any shortage, just that “appointments for flu vaccines were needed”. My husband and I got our Covid vaccine today and it was excellent. Everyone was very nice, considerate, fast and well organized!!! Thank you to Nicki, Courtney and all the staff. We did not get their names, but they all did an excellent job!!!

These are the rudest set of people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. I was told to come back three different times for a skin TB test reading and no one wanted to assist in anyway. I pulled up at 2:00 pm and everyone ignored me and left. This is a true example of people who are only on a job for a paycheck.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! All I came in for is the get my daughters shot record printed at. Literally all she had to do was type in my name and hit print. She could have done that the second I walked in but instead EVALYN made me fill out a whole form and be put in a waiting room with patients as if we need to be seen by a doctor. Took a whole entire day just to get a PAPER PRINTED. Only one window open for service because I’m sure the other workers were taking there sweet time on a lunch break or whatever
