Patterson Public Library

Excellent DVD selection and the library itself is very clean. But it was hard to concentrate because the environment was too noisy. The visitors, especially the kids, were talking as if they're at home, not at a library. Someone who works there should have asked them to speak softer. The Indian librarian at the front desk was loud and abrasive too. She was also not so polite as other librarians I've encountered here. Overall, it's a good library to check out books or DVDs, but if you need to focus, I suggest going to a quieter library.

The library is so useful for clerical as well as picking your variety of books. The librarian, can’t remember how to pronounce her name, but she is super helpful and informative every time I go in. The Asian librarian must not like or enjoy her job. She is so condescending and lazy. She just sits behind her desk and is abrupt with anything you ask of her. Watch out! I don’t know how she still works there. And the comments below about “the Indian lady being so loud” that is comedy, she has the softest mousy voice I’ve ever heard. She is the best and good at her job

Very friendly staff, nice place for the family to come and read some books, you can also do printing, and renting out DVD’s. Internet usage is free but a bit slow! Other then that this place is great!

I am very happy with the library staff they are very friendly and helpful, specially the Indian girl front desk is very knowledgeable and friendly, I will definitely give her five stars for helping me out whenever I ask for help. Regards Mark

Great, friendly and helpful staff. Only reason not 5 star...need more videos available. (Although most are there in 2 or 3 days when sent from Modesto.)
