Pat's Downtown

Wife variety of Louisiana comfort foods. Great red beans and rice, roux, sweet peas, and cobbler. They have a big dining room, a small outdoor patio, and daily specials. Pat's is located just off Lafayette's main street, has its own small parking lot, and street parking nearby.

I placed an order as part of a larger order on Friday morning. I ordered a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. I had to heat my wrap and my fries. The fries were a little crispy. Overall the food was decent despite me having to warm it up. But I most probably won't be ordering from there again.

Changing hands it will be called “Gravy”, and will continue Pat’s tradition of plate lunch’s and good food. will open mid March give it a try…..

Pat's has authentic Cajun and Creole food. The portions are large. I love the crawfish etoufee.
