Pastrami Express

Pastrami Express never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent every single time — hot, fresh, and generously portioned. Their pastrami is phenomenal, but their corned beef sandwiches are honestly the best around. Thick-cut, tender, perfectly seasoned, and piled high on fresh bread — exactly how it should be. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Everything is flavorful, made right, and delivered just the way you expect. Add in the friendly service and it’s easy to see why this place has such a strong reputation. If you’re craving a true deli-style sandwich, especially the greatest corned beef sandwich, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

The absolute worst pastrami sandwich and soup I’ve ever had. Pastrami was over cooked and dry. The soup is terrible. I guess if you’re used to pastrami king or Ben’s you shouldn’t try anything else. How anybody eats the stuff is beyond me. If I could give zero stars it would be to good for this food. Never again!!

Really bummed out. First time getting food here in a couple years. Remembered pastrmi was really good. However, today i could not say the same. Pastrami was somewhat tough and not tender...and it didn't have that strong pastrami flavor like I'm used to. Tasted "water down". The fries were better than the sandwich smh. Fries are good. Hoping it was an off day. Cost $26 for pastrmi and fries...a little pricey imo.

Abe truly is the Pastrami King. And his staff is so attentive and friendly! The food was delicious, great soup, amazing egg cream and the pastrami sandwich was piled HIGH and complimented perfectly by some slaw, sour pickles and a Doctor Browns cream soda or Celray! Great spot, such a gem. We will be back, thank you for the cheese cake!

Had a craving for a juicy pastrami sandwich and it was hard to find a place until we stopped here. They just opened for the day and we saw a bunch of take out orders ready for pickup which means we came to the right spot. In addition to Abe's Special pastrami sandwiches and the hot dog knish, I ordered a matzo ball soup. The knish was tasty and the hot dog added some good flavor to the inside of the knish. The 3/4 lb pastrami sandwich was great and with the matzo ball soup, I could only finish half. The complementary pickles and the coleslaw were fantastic. The menu wasn't updated so the sandwiches were a couple dollars extra for dine in service which we didn't mind.
