Parkway Diner

This is how a diner should be. If I lived closer I would try to go at least once a week. Had the pancake plate and it was soooo good! Buttermilk pancakes... delicious, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage... tasty, tasty. The coffee was fresh and delightful. Did I mention real maple syrup! Wanted to try their pumpkin pie but I was too full. Loved the atmosphere and the waitress was very sweet. The diner was warm and welcoming. Felt like you were in a scene from "Happy Days". The Parkway dinner has a classic style American menu so I ordered a BLT with fries and it was fabulous. My brother ordered a club sandwhich with fries and was equally pleased. Service is great and because we were flying out it is a perfect location. Needless to say the airlines weren't nearly as efficient as that was our last meal for 10 hours. Ah well. I highly recommend it.

I took my friend here for breakfast before dropping him off at the airport, and it was our first time visiting. The place was packed when we arrived around 9:30 AM, which we took as a good sign—it’s always a promising indicator when locals are willing to wait. Right as we walked in, I noticed two open counter seats, though they were separated. I asked a couple entering ahead of us if they’d seen the seats, and the gentleman chuckled that he was too big to sit at the counter. Inside, another couple was still reviewing the menu, so I checked with the hostess to see if she’d mind us taking the counter seats, and she was more than accommodating. The food was delicious and amazing. I had the French Toast Breakfast. The service was very friendly and helpful. Was greeted with a friendly smile by Jessica. Noise level was low so it was easy to talk and hear the person you are talking with. I will be back soon for another delicious breakfast.

Great chicken fried steak! Waitress was great!! English muffins - THE BEST!! I dropped my muffin - the BEST - and our waitress brought me another one!!
