Absolutely beautiful and well maintained library. The staff are also super helpful and nice. The book collection is extensive and they have programmes for all age groups. It is also the only sanctuary library in the state right now, I believe and they are committed to people's access to information and expression. More people should take advantage of their facilities to study and work in. I hope all libraries get to develop like this one.

This is a great library! I am a genealogist and like to research local histories when I travel. I called ahead and I would like to thank Suzanne Dungan, also a genealogist, who very helpful in locating the information I was looking for. Also, she is the collection manager and very familiar with the materials available. There are many surname files there to research specific family histories. Suzanne also made great suggestions where I might find more information in the area on Bourbon County history. It was time well spent at the Paris-Bourbon County Public Library.

Kids day at the Walis House got moved to the library due to weather today.

Very nice and clean. Update: This place continues to be a great library with friendly staff, always willing to help as needed. It's actually one of the most updated & nicest buildings in town.
