Simply nasty and disappointing. This place used to be great and was my go-to spot whenever I craved authentic Cuban cuisine. I recently visited the restaurant and ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast meal. The chicken was undercooked, and the side salad was just thrown on the plate — very unappetizing and sloppy in presentation. I told the waitress that the chicken was undercooked, and she said she would speak to her supervisor, but she did so with an attitude. The manager never came to the table. When I finally asked for the bill, she brought it without removing the chicken meal, even though she saw I hadn’t eaten it. She never apologized or mentioned what her supervisor had said. Been going to this place for a very long time and it’s definitely changed. The food quality and the portions are not what it used to be, but it’s still ok for the price. The steak had an interesting consistency but everything else shown in the photos were good.

Review for Poppy’s Cuban Grill: I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at Poppy’s Cuban Grill. When I received my meal, I found a hardware nail inside my food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety in their kitchen. I expect restaurants to follow proper health and safety standards, and this situation could have caused a serious injury. I hope management takes this matter seriously and investigates how something like this could happen. Please be cautious if you decide to order from here until they address this issue properly.
