Papa's Ice Cream

Great ice cream and generous portions — definitely one of our go-to spots when the weather warms up. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, from the classic flavors to some of their more creative ones. You really get your money’s worth here, and it’s always fresh. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the whole place has that laid-back, small-town charm that makes it feel like summer. It’s the kind of place you look forward to going back to. Always a treat — can’t wait for them to open up again this summer!

Wow on the selections,quality,portion size, value, and friendly counter service. Apple crisp was excellent topped off with ice cream, caramel, whipped cream and a cherry. This new find for us is now on our must visit again list.

Staff were so nice and friendly. Menu is huge. Tons of ice cream flavors, shakes, sundaes, cyclones, hard ice cream, soft serve, specialty sundaes. Delicious !! It's quite popular and usually busy.

This is my go to when traveling between Portland and the NH mountains. Super popular, great ice cream, and there is a large open area with picnic tables and extra parking.

Papa's is our favorite place to get an ice cream. Their flavors are delicious and there are so many to choose from. They have the nicest staff....Always happy and always super nice!! We wish they were open year-round!
