Papa V's Pizzeria

A small family establishment serving NY style pizza. I had the supreme while the ingredients were fresh and good quality my pie was lacking. The pizza crust seemed underdone but that could have been the vegetables giving off moisture. I did see others eating a plain cheese with little flop so that may have just been my choice in toppings. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere comfortable.

Our 1st visit to Mansfield, PA. Decided to try this place since it was close to out hotel. We thought we were going to have pasta but changed our mines and had a cheesesteak sandwich which was very good. Be sure to upgrade the chips and get the handout fries. I think it was a $1.00. They were really good. I saw they had chicken wings so I had to try some. They were large wings, perfectly cooked. They had several sauces to choose from. Our server was awesome. Checked on us multiple times and was on top of everything. He was very friendly and interactive with all the guest. If you find yourself in Mansfield, PA, definitely give Papa V a try.

Food was the best I ever had. Pizza dough is excellent....pizza sauce perfect....and the chicken marsala was the best I have ever had....and I lived in Philadelphia amongst authentic Italian chefs....and the wine gravy here....omgoodness....I wanted to lick the bowl! Superb....will be looking forward to coming back to visit my parents but...umm....coming here to eat will run a close second to reasons why I'd travel three hours north!!

Bruschetta pizza , pepperoni pizza, fries. Regular pizza was pretty good, bruschetta pizza was just ok. Service was EXCELLENT!

Genuinely some of the best Alfredo I've had. Really rich, creamy and garlicy. Plus the garlic knots and fries were stupendous. All topped with extra friendly service and a great atmosphere. Well worth the stop if you're in the area
