Found online and are always wanting to support Black businesses so we stopped in and I'm glad we did! The service was friendly and the food tasty!!! The Sexy Shrimp Po Boy is hands down the best I've ever had. My hubs had the shrimp boil and while there weren't a ton a shrimp, the seasoning and extras (turkey neck, corn, broccoli, sausage, carrots and potatoes) made up the difference. The seasoning was so good!!

I visited back in March. The customer service is really good, there were some blues playing and my food was fresh! I had fish, shrimp, red beans (not pictured) and their special sauce. I enjoyed the flavors. The red beans had a spice to them but this could be how folks like them. I’m from Louisiana but is not a fan of spicy beans. Overall good experience!

Stopped by today for the sampler. Lemon pepper wings (delicious) boudin balls (not my fav) shrimp (delicious) and whiting fish (it was ok). My husband had red beans and rice (DELICIOUS) and said they are just like home (LA). You MUST try the Pound or Lemon cake. Both are delicious. Service was top-notch.

So my dad is from Thibodaux Louisiana and normally no one’s gumbo compares to his. All the food here was delicious & the Gumbo is A1!!!! Red beans and rice delicious! The Gumbo had blue crab, chicken, sausage (not pork), Turkey necks & Soul, I had to order another bowl to go. The service was great - very welcoming! We will come again.

I did Uber didn’t even know they so close to me!! I’m in Union City.This was SO GOOD!!!!! I ordered fish but couldn’t stop eating it to get picture … lol Everything seasoned to perfection, spicy red beans w/rice . The cornbread was moist and delicious! The corn perfect with the meal! …. I gotta find this location. I got my beads with meal too! Nice touch!!!
