Papa Rossi's Pizzeria

Take out. These guys are quick and reliable! Pizza and Strombolis are good, although we have had varied experiences with sauces and a couple times with a scorched bottom. All in all, a good pizza shop! Also pleased with their side salad! Parking can be a bit challenging, the tavern across the street doesn't really want you in their lot (can't blame them) so we park down Main Rd a little bit past the tenant parking (be respectful for those who live there). Be careful backing out though as it's a busy busy intersection!

This is pizzeria off the beaten path in Vera Cruz. The decor has a small town feel to it. I'm sure the locals enjoy coming in. I had lunch here and ordered  a cheese pie. I should have ordered a cheese pie with sauce.  If you love cheese, this is your place. The slice was seasoned well but was thin, drooping, and greasy. Again,this is only my preference on how I like my cheese pies.

Just ordered from this place for the first time tonight and I think it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust was crispy on the outside and the inside was soft and fluffy. We did pick up so I can’t speak to delivery, but we’ll definitely be ordering again. Update: Ordered a second time and it was just as good as the first. They were very friendly and everything was hot and delicious. Still have only gotten pick up, not delivery. I don’t know where everyone else lives with the delivery complaints but I’d recommend just picking it up because this is still the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Where to start...aside from paying $40 for lunch, the food was awful. They served the salad without draining the excess water it was washed in. I filled an entire drinking glass with the water I poured off of the salad. The Margarita pizza lacked flavor all around. The Dough was flavorless and needed salt. Sauce was skimpy overly sweet. The basil on top was watery almost as if it was frozen. French fries were mediocre.

Meat lovers pizza was great. Some places put too much sausage on, blocking out other meat flavors, but not this place, just right! The plain was really good too! I'll definitely be back to try other pizza and foods!
