Papa Johns Pizza

First time trying Papa John's. My pizzas were underdone. The dough and vegetables were raw. Not much flavor. There was liquid leaking out and soaking into the box. I added some basil and parmesan cheese and baked each pizza for ten minutes. Still not that great. I will not order again.

It's Papa John's pizza. It's about as good as PJP is going to be. That said, my review is for the customer service side of things and Dylan as a manager. We ran into an issue where a contracted driver (through DoorDash) dropped our order off without notifying us, and it sat at our door for awhile. This is obviously a DoorDash issue and not an issue with this store. Dylan was punctual and professional about resolving our issue. I left our interaction feeling like a valued customer, and I will continue to order from here for sure. Also the bacon pizza is actually pretty good.

Yeah, this place has been super hit or miss since we started ordering here. We just moved to South Hill back in May 2023 and the food has been so inconsistent here but tonight was the last straw. The pizza had half the cheese on it that it needed and unfortunately after eating 2 slices I got to the crust of the second and am like 99% positive there was a baked Khapra Beetle larvae carcass up on the crust. I wish it had occurred to me to take pics before I washed it down the sink but it was a long day at work and I ordered pizza for our family because I was too tired to cook. I was even more convinced after I tried cutting it with a knife and it was hollow at the end and then when I squished the “head” it leaked out some kind of liquid. DISGUSTING! This store and manager is AMAZING💯. I ordered online when I called the nearest one to my house to try and add a pizza they seem to not have my order and would not be helpful I called a second one they did not seem to have my order and would not be helpful when I called this store being the third store and further away from my home the manager was so nice to take my order and still have it delivered I just the stores amazing if you have a choice to order from a store order from this one.

The person who helped me was very friendly and patient. We love Papa John's and will definitely go back to the south hill puyallup location.
