Papa Dough's Bay City Tavern

I seldom visit Bay Springs but the local First Baptist Church was hosting a gospel group “Anthem Edition” so I was ready for something good after a long day at the schoolhouse. I ordered a calzone and Pepsi w/ a lemon slice- I learned to drink mine this way in London, it add a little something extra. The calzone was great with tomato sauce or garlic sauce. The lady next to me at the bar had a chicken bacon ranch pizza with pickles added! It looked yummy and she agreed but I wouldn’t try it when she offered. Hopefully I didn’t miss out.

We are from out of town. While we were on our weekend getaway we gave this spot a go. It’s one of the best pies I’ve ever had! Quality ingredients all the way down to the side items. Along with a wonderful staff. I highly recommend this place!

We always want to try new pizza places. This one is a good one. We ordered the pizza and before we knew it they were ready....super fast. The pepperonis had a little spiciness to them which was new and great.....not used to that. The sauce had alot of flavor as well. The crust was crispy and cooked well. Wish we could eat thus again.

Proper food. If you are fan on brick oven baked everything c’mon down. The calzone, the pizzas, the Sammies are super delicious. The staff is friendly and on their game. The owners are hometown folks that work their behinds off. Support them.

Stopped in and had a beer, pretzel bites, and the New Yorker. Amazing food for little bay springs and more amazing atmosphere and owners. If I could give it another star then I would
