Papa Dogs Taphouse & Deli

The Coney dog was huge! It was delicious. Staff was efficient and friendly. Also was happy to see they had a Carolina Dog on the menu.

Okay, I recently ate here.. Food was fresh and so delicious, I had the "Joker" sandwich and it hit the spot. Great place to eat and visit in Trinity county, food is delicious and I highly recommend this place if you are in Trinity county.

Great staff, tri tip is awesome. We got some to go with a salad at home. Stayed for a delicious Dreyers Black Cherry ice cream cone eaten in the shady patio area. Lots of room inside and out. Cool and clean inside. Tons of sandwich, and panini options. Beer and wine. Shave ice. They make all of their sandwiches into wraps if you prefer. We are enjoying sitting inside in the cool while waiting. Looking forward to trying some of the yummy looking hot dog options. You’ll be happy you stopped in!

After hours on the road, the rumble of our engines a constant companion on the long haul from Sacramento to Canada, Weaverville appeared like a mirage. We were two-wheeled pilgrims, dust-caked and hungry, and Papa Dogs Tap House and Deli was exactly the kind of gritty oasis we needed. This ain't some polished, pretentious joint. Papa Dogs has a real, lived-in feel, a kind of cute and quaint charm that still feels authentically small-town. I ordered the Albuquerque turkey, it was the perfect combo of flavors and the super cold pineapple hard cider was much appreciated. They were out of chips so I skipped on that (obviously) The folks working there? Solid. No fuss, no fake smiles, just genuinely kind and efficient. Albuquerque sandwich was delicious and filling. The guys before us got burritos and they were HUGE. This place has a little bit of everything. Sandwich’s, burritos, breakfast, cookies, ice cream, beer, Snowcone, and a wide selection of drinks. This was such a great stop during our road trip. 10/10
