Papa Chicken Whitestone

I used to get chicken from the a flushing location, but this one is more convenient for me. I love that it’s not just chicken burgers. I can’t eat carbs anymore, but sometimes I’m craving fried chicken. I love their fried chicken wings and drumettes. It’s so flavorful. They definitely use a bit of curry powder for seasoning. I get the mild. Their spicy can get very spicy for me. Next time I will try the roast wings or whole chicken. It’s well seasoned, chicken is crunchy, and the value for the money I paid is great! This is not really a sit down place. You can but it’s fairly no frills. Best for takeout and delivery. It’s a mom and pop shop so happy to help out. Also, the chicken isn’t overly salted like Popeyes. Good for a fried chicken fix without raising my blood pressure :)

Wow, I was really impressed by this new chicken restaurant in our neighborhood. The food is absolutely solid for the price, we got a ton of food for less than $30. Service was good, everything was made fresh. Burger and the sauce was tasty, popcorn chicken had perfect texture and it came with sooo much for so cheap, honeydew leg was nice and hearty, paprika wing had good spice, and the fries were actually good. Definitely recommend checking this spot out, I think it would be way more enjoyable than the McDonald’s across the street.

We got the 2-person combo: 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, 4 sides and 2 cans of soda for $24. Enough for three. The sandwiches were delicious. My favorite was the crispy and juicy dark meat chicken with a sweet mayo and lettuce on a soft bun. French fries were very good. The wings were also tasty. I’ll go back to try their other items.

I decided to try this place as it had really good reviews and is near my job but it was a very disappointing experience and I would give zero stars if possible. The honey dew chicken was disgusting. It looked like it was covered in kool aid, there was no flavor to it at all and the texture was rubbery, hard and dry I took one bite and threw it away. The salt and pepper chicken also lacked flavor and the texture inside was rubbery and dry. Spent close to $30 on food I could barely eat. Would recommend you to eat elsewhere.

Great addition to the Clearview area. It's simple quality fast food with great value. All their fried chicken, the sandwich, the wings, or the whole chicken are very flavorful and tender and juicy. My go to is the sandwich combo where you get two sides with it. The chicken cutlet is huge, probably twice the size of what you get from McDonald chicken sandwich. Then I'd get an order of wings and order of pumpkin pie as side. The combo can easily feed two people. Definitely will be going back again and again, thanks
