Panera Bread

I have not been to a Panera for many years, but I decided to give it a try on a Sunday morning after making a ton of food on Saturday. I was looking forward to a quick treat that I didn't have to slave over. I ordered using the Pick Up option on DoorDash. My wife ordered the Croissant Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich ($8.59). I ordered the Ciabatta Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich ($8.59). I also ordered the Spinach & Bacon Soufflé ($8.79) to share later or keep for Monday morning. Both my wife and I were underwhelmed by the size for the price. When I opened my sandwich, the bacon was all crammed up on one side. This happened on Saturday morning 2/28/26 around 11 or 11:30am Gold star BLVD. I was picking up a door dash order that was not listed on their screen but was sitting to the side so I had to wait to speak with a certain tall white woman with long hair (I wish I looked at her name tag) she was on the phone and she looked VERY upset. She slams the phone down then comes over to me and says (I HATE DOOR DASH). How can I help you. I was like ummmm well I am door dash, and I need my order please. She angrily picks up the bag and placed it in front of me then walks away angry. :( Worst Customer Service Experience ever) Panera bread needs to do better with their employees' selection who deals with the public.

I used to love Panera, but the prices started getting really high for such small portions so I stopped ordering for awhile. I thought I'd give them another try when I was craving soup and a salad this week, and honestly I regret spending my money here. The food tasted fine but the portion sizes are unbelievably small for what you pay. My half size salad was over $10 and smaller than my hand and had what looked like a tablespoon of dressing. Barely enough to even taste once it was mixed in. The cup of soup was also quite small, the container wasn't filled all the way, and the soup tasted extremely salty with very little inclusions (mostly broth). My boyfriend and I placed an online order on Monday night through their website at 7:45pm. The website said that this location was supposed to be open until 9:30pm. I received an email saying that my order was received and was being prepared. However, when my boyfriend went to go pick up the food, the doors were locked and a sign was hung up saying they closed around 5pm that day. My money was taken out of my bank account even though I did not receive my food. Next time, if the place is closing early, it should be posted on their website as well or be made clear that they are not accepting orders during certain times. I also tried calling this locations phone number today during business hours and nobody still answered. The only positive thing from this though is when I called the customer

I love Panera but this location is not the best. Very frequently stocked out on food items (didn't have broccoli cheddar soup tonight). And this (see photos) is exactly how my sandwich came out of the packaging... Not sure who thought it was okay to use a destroyed piece of bread with a huge hole in the middle. Panera is not the cheapest so I expect much better quality control than this. -Jeff
