Panera Bread

Delicious and not as pricey as you think! Today I had the "under 10" special of tomato soup and BBQ chicken sandwich...only $7! Scrumptious!! Also love the grilled cheese and salads. Nice staff, fine atmosphere. They don't care who you might know...everyone is treated the same and with appreciation!

The Panera Bread in Hummels Wharf near Selinsgrove is the best one we have been to on our travels. The food was good. Service was quick and accurate. Food was very good. This building is one of the nicest Panera Bread restaurants we have been in. There is adequate parking. And there is easy access back to the highway if you follow the signs out the back to the traffic light.

So many items to choose from. Gotta love the soup on a cold winter day, especially in a bread bowl. The sandwiches are a very good choice as well as there are many options from both cold and hot sandwiches. Get yourself a cookie as well.

This Panera has the style as Starbucks years ago. It has ample seating outside, and well kept tables and flooring inside as well. I placed a Rapid Pick-Up order here during their opening Sunday. The coffee was quite bitter, but no fault to them (was piping hot). The reason why I give only three stars is because the customer service was NOT high class as the fixtures. NO one spoke or acknowledged me in any way. There were no customers with the exception of myself and another. They weren’t busy. In fact, an employee pulled up a chair and was sitting with the other customer. Anyway, just a small gesture can go a long way. I felt as the staff was only waiting for me to leave ( I applied the spread while I was there). Where’s the small town charm?

Never going here again. I was in the drive thru thought it would be quick but I was wrong. The car in front of me had a dog and the employee was holding a cup out the window so the dog could eat. The dog was licking the cup and the employees hand. I have nothing against dogs it just shocked me that I had to wait for my turn while a dog ate for 5 minutes so much for a quick trip. Oh and when it was my turn the employee handed me my drink right away no chance to wash hands seems like a health hazard. So yeah it seems Panara prioritize dogs over their human customers health and safety so I will no longer be frequenting any Paneras or giving them any money. And to add more insult they got my order wrong and gave me one of the most watered down drinks ever.
