Panera Bread

This is a takeaway review so ignore the service and atmosphere reviews. Bagels and the new recipe pecan dish. You know Panera bagels good solid bagels. Pecan dish was ok. I was a bit surprised that the syrup didn’t melt despite being nuked for 30s. Still tasty though.

BE WARY THE SIDE SKIRT KILLER. The food here is good. 5/5. Good staff! However, I’m now aware of literally *multiple* people who have hit the curb at this restaurant. Look at the pic—you wouldn’t think there is something wrong, but there is. The curb is very high here and unusually long; if you back into the spot adjacent it your natural tendency is to pull forward a bit and turn—then you smash your side skirt. Panera needs to put a small post here at the end of the curb to show a driver they can’t turn. If my advice is implemented this will save deep heartache and pain for generations to come.

Our Bible Study group meets at Panera every week. We love their coffee and breakfast offerings. I myself have the Sip Club membership and it is worth every penny. I can pop in at the drive thru on days that I am out and about to pick up a free beverage, be it coffee, lemonade, or soda (rarely), although I do drink Gingerale. The staff at Webster and Penfield are very friendly and efficient. Dale is our "Go to Guy" at Webster.

Usually I am happy with my order but it has been inconsistent lately. The last few times the sandwich was not made the way it was in the past. My toasted garden caprese was mostly bread. One small slice of tomato and less than one slice of cheese and a touch of green. I almost went back to return it.

This location ALWAYS forgets an item from my order. It’s gotten to the point where I check my bag before I drive away. With the amount of $ spent I would expect better service.
