Panera Bread

Micah is the chef that prepared the Breakfast Special Surprise for me. What I like about, not only the value of the meals. (If you have an account, Panera’s will give you a discount reward on entrees, soups, sandwiches, drinks and desserts), but you can customize your meals, easily by using the customize button on Panera’s app. to change, delete, and add items to your order. Because I like pancakes. I eat the sandwich with a knife and fork with a pat of butter and drizzle with honey. Also, I can customize by changing the Ciabatta to a Blue Berry bagel (see photo ), adding extra egg white, extra Benedict sauce, sweet peppers, deleting salt and pepper. The food was excellent and priced well. I had issues with bringing a disabled party member into the bathroom to eventually discover that an able bodied employee was in there taking their time, making it so my disabled party member had to use the regular bathroom stall. However, when the employee left she did not wash her hands and was at the service area touching bread with her bare and not gloved hands after using the bathroom. The manager was nice, said they will discuss it with the employee but seeing her touching the food with her bare hands really turned off my appetite.

Dylan, a manager at this restaurant impresses me with her professionalism. Not only is she willing to fill in as manager at another restaurant in the chain, which is 30 minutes away in Daytona Beach, but her ability to anticipate what is happening in her restaurant. Last night, I had forgotten to ask for butter for the free side order of French Baguette. I went back up to the counter. Dylan came out carrying a large container of hot soup.I was impressed of how she as a manager will pitch in to do what’s necessary to help her subordinates when they are too busy with their tasks. She looked at my plate and asked. ”Do you need butter?” I nodded. I was impressed again how Dylan had noticed and anticipated I wanted butter before I did. Breakfast sandwiches not fulfilling enough for the money. Drive thru - can’t hear them speak. Couldn’t find my order I placed via app that said was ready. Clean. Nice employees. Food taste ok - just not worth $$

I went to Panera on 100 yesterday to grab a quick bite to eat for my daughter and I. I ordered a pick 2 with the new steak sandwich and a green goddess salad. Everything was all good until I noticed after two bites that I didn’t taste any steak in my sandwich, so I opened it up and found out why. They basically gave me a mozzarella sandwich with a sprinkle of steak. Very disappointing and this is why most places in Palm Coast have low reviews. Actually put what comes on people’s food that they pay their hard earned money for. This is why Paneras are shutting down around the country! I won’t be returning! Spent $26 just to be dissatisfied.
