Panera Bread

Checkout the pictures. The 1st picture is what I ordered from the app. Notice the nice cup of dipping soup and the 2 pieces Chicken Pesto Ciabatta sandwichea. Then checkout the second and third pictures. Definitely a bait and switch situation.

Food was good. The service was good But I had an issue with the restaurant's appearance. When I drove up I was thinking the place wasn't there anymore because there was nothing in the windows except maybe the hours posted on the door. And the windows were dirty. And dark. It looked deserted.. if I'm going to a place to eat, clean windows is the first sign of a clean restaurant. Maybe it's called curb appeal. This place needs some sprucing up.

Panera food continues to decrease in quality. Left with a breakfast bill of almost $35 for two. A fastfood chain would have been more satisfying and cheaper. Croissant sandwich was greasy but lacked flavor. Black tea needs freshly boiled tea to steep properly but that's not a common practice in the US to begin with. The maple pecan twist was overly sweet and tasted a bit old. We went in at 8am, at opening, and all the tables were dirty. Floor was dirty by the drinks. I guess this is the typical Panera experience now a days.

This Panera has gone down hill, drastically. We have stopped at this location for past 10 years traveling from New England to Florida and this visit was awful. Salads not fresh and drenched in dressing, mens and womens bathrooms were too disgusting to describe, floor and tables had food crumbs on them, and walls and furniture dirty. One wall appeared to have old drink splattered which now was black. This location needs a total refresh and management should be held accountable for the condition. We hope we dont end up with food poisoning. Only positive remark is that the cashier was nice. Will not return to this location again, sadly as it was always a convenient stop.

Nothing to complain about. Staff was very young, very friendly, very professional. Great experience. It's a shame they're trying to normalize tips just so these poor kids can make a decent buck. Corporate greed strikes again. There, I found something to complain about after all. 🙂
