Panera Bread

I love Panera, especially this location. The atmosphere is diverse and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I met the manager today Marco, he was very hospitable and accommodating. I highly recommend for the cleanliness & layout.

I ordered 2 soufflés for delivery because I know how fast those go. And I needed food before my appointment but imagine my extreme disappointment when I opened my food and found 2 extremely sad egg and cheese sandwiches. I received no call to tell me they ran out or anything. I’m not sure if my delivery guy picked up the wrong bag but that bag had our receipt on it! So someone messed up big because I just wasted my money on food I didn’t even eat. I attempted to make a claim on their website which I had ordered through, but they don’t even make that possible to dispute previous orders. I want my money back. I even see on the receipt how they needed to sign and checked the order is accurate and there was no check or signature. How?!

Panera USED TO be great and packed with customers several years ago. I was craving the broccoli cheddar soup and came in for a pick 2 meal- half sandwich, and a cup of soup. The place was practically empty on a Sunday afternoon at lunch time. When I opened my to go order, I found that the half- sandwich is now HALF the size it used to be. It is like a mini sample, not a meal at all. Panera deserves the negative feedback and failing business because it is SCAMMING its customers through shrinking the food. Paid $15 for a SNACK. Ridiculous. Google Shrinkflation and Panera, and they say they are turning things around and changing back, but it is now March 2026 and no changes made. Panera thinks their customers are stupid and that they can scam you with half of a half and call it a sandwich.

I’ve always wanted to come to this location with a man I love. Cant go wrong with Panera bread with me. Especially when I had a gift card! My go to is the broccoli soup. No spoon for me, thanks! I love dipping their French baguette bread in the soup with every bite. The staff is so friendly and courteous. Fast service too. We ordered for pick up but decided to eat in. Would definitely come back here, I always do.

I’m genuinely confused by the decision to disable Wi-Fi from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I’ve called several other Panera locations across NYC, and none of them follow this practice. Many patrons come here specifically to eat and work remotely, and reliable Wi-Fi is part of what makes Panera appealing in the first place. Disabling it during peak hours makes little sense and negatively impacts customers who rely on this space to work. I’ll be reaching out to corporate for clarification, because this seems inconsistent and unreasonable.
