Panera Bread

I haven't been to a Panera restaurant in a few years. But the food was still great in a different city. I had the 1/2 & 1/2: a warm sandwich with tender chicken, cheese and yummy avocado. I also had the warm tomato soup. For a side, I enjoyed a slice of bread and a diet Pepsi. Definitely a quiet restaurant with an attentive staff at the counter. However, as a food server of 20 years, and I dislike paying here because it (debit card machine) immediately asks for a 20% tip automatically just to take my order. Come on folks, I will tip when service deserves it, not when you demand it and MAKE me deselect the tip option. Ordered at the in-store kiosk with virtually no customers is the store for take out. Steak and wake sandwich and ham egg and cheese sandwich. The picture below is what I got. 2 egg and cheese with no meat. At $7 a sandwich to not put meat on 2 sandwiches is poor service.

I absolutely love Panera Bread but today my husband picked up two sandwiches I ordered online and as I was eating mine halfway through there was a hair in my sandwich. My favorite sandwich too. Ugh... I did call and the manager apologized and gave me a refund. Which im thankful for. Im just making this review so people are aware. Look at your food if you order from here. I also have an honest question. What happend to hair nets? Is that not a thing anymore?

Foods great when prepared properly. However that's pretty uncommon at this location. Good luck!

Ordered two hot lattes and they were delivered ice cold. Pretty upsetting. This Panera has gone way downhill over past several years. I have had multiple occasions waiting in the drive through for a ridiculous amount of time. The quality of their food has decreased, the sandwiches are usually made real sloppy, and the price for the value of the food is not worth it.
