Panera Bread

Came to my panera bread in Canton CT since I have a gift card. The manager was the at the counter taking orders and showed him the gift card and asked if I can use it, he was very rude in a sense he doesn’t want to be doing what he was doing. The gift card didn’t work and rudely told me that doesn’t work and said I either pay by card or by cash, in a demeaning voice. I was willing to but I wanted to check if the gift card will work first. In the end I paid by card and when I got my order, he got all my order wrong! Very disappointing, it was not that busy during the time so there’s no reason for him to be like that. I get it, sometimes I don’t like my job but I don’t take it out on the customers. They better have that manager do some more training.

I ordered chicken soup and the Fuji apple salad. My soup was sitting in the window by the time I walked over. 6 order names later I get called for my order. The soup was cool by the time the rest of my order was ready and the chicken on the salad was disgusting. I threw salad out, ate about 1/2 of soup and left. Panera has gone down in my opinion and I have it one last shot. I will not be returning again

Nice spot to have anything from coffee to breakfast or lunch. Plenty of seating, a gas fireplace for colder evenings in the main dining area and a pleasant interior that makes the eating-in experience enjoyable. A kiosk with a few touch screens for patrons to punch in their orders was a bit user unfriendly to us, with so many pages and choices for add-ons or things that come with your meal. We found spending over five minutes to place two orders a bit cumbersome. Maybe we prefer actual wait staff that just asks us what we want off the menu. Or, maybe you can order at their counter and skip the kiosk, but we did not see anyone there except for the person who puts out your tray once your food has been prepared and your purchase has been sent to the kitchen. rudest employees i have ever met in my entire life. some chick behind the counter giving disgusting and disrespectful dirty looks. absolutely not. cold food, and the place was absolutely disgusting. clean once in a while??

They more and more are becoming too forgetful on completing a large order properly. And to travel all the way back to get what they forgot, was compensated one cookie. Last time they forgot something I was given the entire bakery. (Exaggeration) .. and you can’t call to get in touch with a human .. which I’m glad they didn’t give me hard time about the missing item by the time I returned.
