Panera Bread

I ordered the Goddess Salad, which I’ve had before and loved, but this time the avocado was clearly overripe and starting to spoil (dark, mushy, brown). When I politely asked for a replacement, I was told all the avocados were like that. If an ingredient isn’t fresh, it shouldn’t be served, especially when it’s a key part of the dish and customers are paying full price. The salad also didn’t taste the same as before. Very disappointing experience, though the cashier was kind.

We went through the drive thru. Not the usual person that works drive. The girl was friendly but when my husband realized his bagel was not toasted or sliced he asked the girl about it. She told us we didn't ask for that at the menu/speaker. She was quick to point a finger. Why didn't she ask us if we wanted it sliced or toasted? Isn't it her job to get the order correct? He asked if she could fix it. She said that since we already have the food. that there's nothing she can do. How about give us a new bagel that's sliced and toasted? We don't need the original one. I get that it's important to not have product waste but what about happy customers. I think that's important too, have happy, returning customers. There's several options for bagels in NWA. We can go somewhere else.

Who’s the genius putting the core hard bit of the lettuce in the salads? I’ve been eating here for lunch for almost a year and it never fails, are yall using it to make it look more full or do you genuinely think people eat this part?

I’ve been a loyal Panera Bread customer for over five years, enjoying their food regularly while living in California. Since moving to NWA in February 2024, I’ve continued my routine of eating at Panera at least once a week. However, the Walton location in Bentonville has been a huge disappointment. At first, I noticed the bread wasn’t the same quality as what I was used to in California, but my wife and I let it slide. Unfortunately, in the past month, the quality has gone from bad to worse. Most recently, we ordered two sandwiches at $9.59 each—only to receive one made of nothing but two tiny end pieces and another that was completely burned. This wasn’t an isolated incident.
