Absolutely delicious food! I first came here six years ago for my husband’s birthday after hearing about the restaurant from a foodie. It’s an unpretentious spot with incredibly good food. We ordered 10+ different dishes that first time and loved everything, especially the dan dan noodles and the pork bun. Nothing can ever compare to their Dan Dan noodles no matter how many times we order them from different restaurants! We moved far away after a few years, but when we came back to visit friends this month, this was the first restaurant we wanted to return to. The food was just as delicious as it was six years ago. Highly recommend!

Classic Chinese Family establishment, the waitresses (daughters?) are so quick between cutting vegetables, taking my order, and refilling my water, and they have great no-nonsense girlboss energy. Was hungry for a chill lunch after the arebetoreum and decided to give this place a try. I thought it was a bit expensive but they actually give you large portions, so for example many diahes are 18-20 which you’re probably like “damn thats expensive” and then they bring out Emperor Xi’s size plates 10/10 would get asked “wat u want” again

This is the only Chinese food we get in DC! Every time we order take out we try to get something new to try their large menu. Some of our favorites include egg rolls, Szechuan chicken (pictured- tastes way better than it looks), dry braised chicken, double cooked pork, and steamed dumpling in red sauce. Everything is delicious!

This place was awesome! It was so good I came back the next night for another dinner here. The menu seemed to be mostly authentic Chinese food but there were a few American-Chinese options like sesame chicken. Definitely get the “Chinese Burger” Edit: I’ve returned to this restaurant about two years later because I remembered it being so good. Still amazing. I recommend it to anyone who visits DC.

Excellent quality food. Spicy chicken has largest and freshest white meat compared to many competitors. Everything is so tasty!
