If you enjoy authentic Mexican bread and pastries, don't pass this place up. Also, if you can catch the Tamale lady at around 11am. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Panaderia De Barrio Just south of Garfield Park, this little Panaderia is full of flavor! I love an Oreja or a Concha but they also have Donnos (donuts) for just $1. I got a whole box of delicious beautiful pastries and a coffee for less than $12! . The owner is very sweet and friendly. There is no inside seating so it's more of a grab and go. They also have a few fridge staples, milk, eggs, tortillas etc. We'll definitely be back. They also have Noble Roasters Coffee on drip! I absolutely love a pandaderia but one with good local coffee, yes please! Oreja, similar to a crossaints texture but like a cookie version. If you are in or near Indianapolis, IN looking for delicious Mexican desserts made from scratch daily then this is a must stop. The ambiance is inviting with desserts wall to wall. it is like walking into a Mexican Willy Wonka Factory. nothing but goodies. Everything from breads, donuts, pastries, cakes, and specialty items. The staff there are very welcoming and will assist you with finding the right treat. The fresh Bavarian Creme is a must try.

Visited their new location at Denver's Pizza in Fortville this morning. We tried their plain yeast doughnuts and pumpkin cheesecake muffins. Both were delicious. Will definitely be visiting them again and again.
