The food was mediocre. The tortillas was memorable and tasty unlike the horrible service! They could be great and develop a clientele that would be loyal, if only the lady running the front end would be more personable….

Pozole Rojo, Carne Asada plate, fresh corn tortillas all delicious. Great hot sauces. Excellent service. Fun selection of pastries. And beer!

I’ve been looking for handmade corn tortillas in Reno for years, and they are here! Tacos con tortillas a mano. Very different from machine made tortillas. Not cheap, just fantastic. Way smaller than Pastelaría Ideal in Mexico City, or an 85C, but a lot like it and just as good! Grab a tray and tongs, and take home a boxful of treats.

We came to Paloma’s to watch the 49ers game and Jasmine made the whole experience even better. She was super helpful, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. If you’re here on game day (or any day), definitely ask for Jasmine—she’ll take great care of you!

After reading the reviews on this place I decided to order dinner for take out. I ordered the number one: three taco dinner plate. Two carne asada tacos and one lengua. The lengua was SUPER tender. It was cooked to perfection. All three tacos were delicious. Beans were nice and soft and creamy. Rice had a few stiff pieces in it but I came in literally as they were closing so I’m sure it was the end of the night rice. They held the door open for me so I could pay for my dinner and take it home. Thank you so much! They also have fresh baked goods and gorgeous handmade cakes. There is masa and home made salsa available too. The two pastries I purchased were so flaky and tasty. Very fun for dessert. Staff were very kind and friendly. Will definitely be eating here again.
