I went by the website and the recording on their phone said they will open till 5 o'clock. I get there at 430 and no one is her. Very disappointed if you have a schedule stick to it.

Was recommended to me by people who said the seafood was great. I bought 5 pounds of large peeled and deveined shrimp and 5 pounds of large heads off shrimp. Unfortunately the peeled and deveined was badly freezer burned lots that didn’t get deveined. I just threw the whole bag in the trash. I haven’t thawed the heads off yet but not feeling confident. Expensive learning experience.

The shrimp and scallops are great quality and excellent to eat. The sign along road says "fresh" as well as the web site but they only have frozen products for sale.

My husband & I are blessed to live near Pamlico Packing & the the Cross family. Whenever we want top shelf seafood we call Don or Doug & they hook us up w/ the freshest, most high-quality shrimp, oysters, crabmeat, scallops, clams, flounder (any fish we ask for) to throw on the grill or steam pot. Tonight we got some Pamlico Sound hand-peeled & deveined 26/30s (shrimp) & Steven grilled them to perfection w/ a Jamaican jerk marinade. If you want the best North Carolina seafood we recommend Don & Doug @ Pamlico Packing. You will be picking your teeth & grinning.

Staff helping me very nice and answered my questions. Picked up gallon of select oysters. Oystsrs have been very good when bought here several times in the past.
