Here you'll find great staff who know their patrons by name, and who plan lots of great, creative programs for all ages. Palos Park has less than 5,000 population, thus, the library is smaller than other surrounding libraries, but the services I need are here. Set in a wooded area, with a full wall of windows that look out to a bird haven, I can sit and peruse the paper with the BEST view. There are even little trails running behind and around the library. I've had a library card since I was 8 years old, several different towns, and this one fits my needs perfectly.
A lot of books and audiobooks. I wouldn't imagine this many books for such a small library. The library looks bigger on the inside. There are also many extra activities in the summer which are fun for kids, and adults too!
Smallest library I've ever seen, very cute, full of pep.
Small & cute. Plenty of seating to get some work done, the windows bring ton of natural light!
Their service is amazing, small local library in the woods, pretty whimsical
