Palmetto Bakeshop

finally found a good bakeshop. I always look forward to Saturdays so I can buy my favorite croissant here. Everything I’ve tried has been great. The staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating. Gosh, I wish they were open every day.

4.5-5/5. Amazing, well-priced pastries. We had the pistachio croissant, carrot cake croissant and the strawberry shortcake danish. The highlight was the strawberry shortcake danish- it was a classic danish with a piece of shortcake inside. Pastries were all flaky with delicious fillings and toppings. Everything was well-priced and all together it was ~ $13 for 3 large pastries. Best pastries Ive had in South Carolina so far

You did not hear this from me, but this is the spot. Everything was amazingly baked to perfection, croissants were reheated in the air fryer, and they came out, flaky and gooey, and absolutely perfect, and the sourdough bread was something my great grandmother made when I was a small child

Excellent pastries! We were so excited to find a perfect croissant in Florence. The staff were friendly and helpful. While we could've finished the entire purchase in one day, we paced ourselves and were pleasantly surprised to find that they tasted almost just as good the next day when heated in the oven. Prices were unbeatable!

The best croissants in Florence, SC and key lime pie that can compete in the Florida Keys. So good... 😋
