Palm Tree Vegan and Juice Bar

We ordered from Palm Tree Vegan and Juice Bar for my wife’s birthday, and everything was a hit! We got three orders of each of their vegan egg rolls: BBQ Jackfruit, Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, and Sweet Potato Cinnamon. Each order comes with two rolls, and they’re larger than expected (in the best way). As everyone made their plates, we kept the egg rolls warm in a serving tray. We didn’t label them, so guests got to enjoy the surprise of discovering which flavor was which and the good news is, every single one was delicious. We also ordered five oyster mushroom wraps, but ended up serving the fried oyster mushrooms together in a tray. We called our order in, as that is what was recommended based on reviews. Once we arrived, they finished preparing it. The staff was kind and helpful. We got there about 11a on a Saturday morning, and there weren't other customers when we arrived, so seating was plentiful. The food was so flavorful. We ordered the BBQ jackfruit egg roll, which was really good but also spicy. I didn't mind it because I like spicy foods, but it may be too spicy for some. We also ordered the black bean burger. It was really delicious, the best black bean burger I have ever had. It wasn't mushy. You could see the different vegetables in it. And we order the crab cakes with Mac n cheese and green beans. Vegan Chicken Eggrolls were delicious. Sweet Potato Burger not bad, bun smelled and tasted burnt. The fries smelled and tasted burnt. Vegan juice very strong but not bad. Front counter person not present. Waited for service.

It took a minute to get my food. I had gotten the Chicken sandwich she asked me did I want toppings on my sandwich but didn’t tell me it was up charge . I paid $66 for chicken sandwich one drink and three side plate and chicken Philly egg rolls and a island girl drink honestly I did not like anything I ate I didn’t try the chicken sandwich but everything I did eat was just ok edible but I would not come back Desmond’s is better with bigger portions for your money . My friend got the curry with two sides , the chicken Philly egg rolls and the drink, she got green beans and cabbage and side of rice she liked her food. Me everything just wasn’t flavorful for me and almost was on the salty side. I am a big foodie I saw this on tik tok and just had to try and I literally didn’t like anything. T

My husband surprised me with the most delicious egg rolls and oyster mushrooms from this place. Living in NYC, we always have options for vegan food. Down here in VA, it’s often a struggle finding something I can eat. I didn’t know what to expect but the food blew me away. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The collard green egg rolls had a kick and were wonderful. The Mac n cheese eggrolls definitely made me want to come back and try a full serving of Mac. The jackfruit eggrolls were excellent. The bbq sauce was tangy and spicy and the texture was on point. Finally, the sweet potato eggrolls were like a dessert. Better than a turnover. So rich and delicious. I’ve had many oyster mushrooms but these were some of the best I’ve ever had. Often they can be chewy. These were crisp
